Green Building Award 2023 – FINALIST (Existing Buildings: Completed Projects – Institutional)

The Crop Science Laboratory on the roof of Sir Run Run Shaw Building has been selected as the FINALIST in the Green Building Award 2023 (Existing Buildings: Completed Projects – Institutional).

Cha Chi-ming Science Tower and the Botanical Laboratory have served the Department of Biology since 1989 and 1999 respectively, providing research and development facilities for thousands of students for over 35 years.  The latest addition to the family - the Crop Science Laboratory - supports advanced research and provides precise controlled environment for experiments.  The development of the Crop Science Laboratory is a showcase of our dedication to design excellence and green architecture.
