Stems:
Bark of trunk grey, smooth or slightly with longitudinal cracks. Diameter at Breast Height (DBH) of main trunk 30 to 50 cm. Whole plant contains milky latex, epiphytic when young.

Leaf:

Triangular-ovate, leathery, alternate. Apex caudate, length of cauda around 1/4 to 1/2 of the leaf blade. Base broadly truncate to shallowly cordate. Margin entire or undulate. Lateral veins 5 to 8 pairs. Young leaves reddish brown, membranous, surface glossy. Petiole slender, as long as or longer than leaf blade.
