Leaf:

Thick papery, suborbicular in outline. Leaf base shallowly cordate. Leaf apex shallowly 2-lobed, apex of lobes slightly acute, seldomly rounded. Shaped like sheep hoof.

葉:

硬紙質，外型近圓形，葉基淺心形，葉端2淺裂，裂片頂端近急尖、稀鈍圓，形狀猶如羊的蹄部。

Flower:

• Petals 5, with long claw (the narrowed base of petal), subequal, light pink to crimson, base sometimes white, narrowly lanceolate. The upper petal oblanceolate.
• Flowering: Oct - Dec

花:

• 花瓣5片，具長瓣柄（亦稱之為爪），近等大，淺粉紅色至桃紅色，基部有時白色，狹披針形。最上方的花瓣倒披針形。
• 花期: 10 - 12月

Fruit:

• Legume ligulate, blackish brown. Valves woody, split and twist to eject seeds when mature. With around 10 seeds.
