Campus Development and Project Management

To buttress the infrastructural development of the University and to provide a supportive built environment on campus, a wide range of functions in relation to campus planning and project management as listed below are undertaken:

  • Campus Planning and Development
  • Project Management (including capital, alterations, additions and improvements and renovation works)
  • Space Management
  • Design Input for Repairs and Maintenance
  • Cost and Contract Management for Projects

Following a comprehensive strategic campus planning process involving the University community, the University has embarked on a campus development roadmap under the Campus Master Plan (CMP) running from 2007 to 2016 with the theme of “Inspires Creativity for Whole Person Education”.  To continuously support the strategic development of the University under its updated Vision 2020, a Campus Master Plan (II) (CMP(II)) for 2014-21, an evolved version of the CMP, was drawn up in 2014 in consultation with the University community.  The CMP(II) embraces proposed capital works, spatial replanning, improvement/upgrades to the existing space/facilities and potential developments.
