Signage and Acronym Update - Dr. Wu Yee Sun Building “WYS”
(previously known as Academic and Administration Building “AAB”)

The former Academic and Administration Building (AAB) has been officially named as Dr. Wu Yee Sun Building on 4 May 2026, in recognition of the generous support from the Wu Yee Sun Charitable Foundation. To accommodate this change, all signage, including the new acronym “WYS,” associated with the building will be updated in phases:

  • The new building name has been updated on the campus directory signs and displayed on the external walls of the building.

  • Updates to floor directories, room signage, and relevant details in the Venue and Facilities Booking System etc., are scheduled for completion in July and August 2026.

  • Temporary signs are currently in place to guide campus users during this transitional period.

We kindly remind all campus users to update their records, documents, websites, correspondence, and event materials, etc. to reflect the new building name, especially when organising activities in the Dr. Wu Yee Sun Building.
