Campus security is of vital importance to our University and endeavours have been made to provide a secure and safe campus environment for the University community.
At the start of the new academic year, students are advised to take notice of the following precautions:
1. Avoid keeping valuable belongings in bags and leaving them unattended anywhere on campus.
2. Always remember to check your mobile devices, such as mobile phones, tablets, notebook computers and USB flash drives, before leaving learning commons, libraries, classrooms, student activities rooms, catering outlets, common areas, etc.
3. Close your locker with a padlock or combination lock when not in use even for a short while. Change the password of your combination lock regularly.
4. Stay alert when you leave the campus or pass by the boundaries of construction sites near the campus at night.
5. If you notice any irregularities or suspicious strangers on campus, please report them to the campus security on 3411 777 immediately.
