• A preliminary move-out inspection will be arranged with the resident about two weeks before the actual move-out date to determine if any reinstatement works are required in the apartment.

  • The utility meter for electricity, water and gas are under the registered name of the University. The Estates Office will record the final utility meter readings during the moving-out inspection and calculate the utility charges on a pro-rata basis.

  • The resident is required to cancel the telephone/fax/IDD line(s) and settle all the telephone/fax charges before moving out.

  • Except for the furniture and appliances provided by the University, the resident is required to remove all his/her furniture, belongings and household appliances, which include but are not limited to washing machine, drying machine, etc. from the apartment.

  • The resident is required to clear all his/her possessions and clean up the quarters at a reasonable level. Otherwise, cleaning charges will be deducted from your deposit.

  • A move-out inspection will be arranged on the actual move-out date in order to:

check if all the reinstatement works (if any) are completed;

 

3.

collect all the keys of your apartment; and

 

4.

collect the emergency kit items (if any).
