Keys collection

The keys of the flat will be available at the Security Control Room on G/F of Tower 5. Please show your passport or any identification document to collect the keys.

Entrance Code

Combination locks are installed at car park and podium entrances of each Tower. Just key in the code number correctly and the door latch will be released. The code number will be changed periodically with prior notice.

Internet network

SSQ provides a free internet service (wired only) for each resident in share basis across whole SSQ. Each resident will have a maximum bandwidth of 100M. But the actual performance may vary depending on the usage of other residents and the resource of remote systems/websites. 

To maintain a stable and clean network, you are solely responsible for the security of your system and any transmissions you make or receive. Your activities on the service shall not: 

• introduce any virus, trojan, worms, time bomb, cancelbot or other programming routine that may damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information
  
  
• create any liability or cause to lose (in whole or in part) any of HKBU services
  
  
• violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation
  
  
• HKBU reserves the right to suspend or disconnect network connection without notification if any harmful of network is found regarding to the above matters

Residents may also apply for additional internet service through local telecommunication service providers.

Household Contents Insurance

Insurance coverage for the fixtures and furniture provided by the University has been arranged. The residents are advised to take out appropriate household contents insurance to protect their own fixtures, furniture, personal goods and belongings against any loss and damage.

Travelling
