Guide Dog

The University welcomes user with his/her licensed guide dog to access the campus.


Guide dog in training by staff or student

The University allows staff or student, as trainer, to bring his/her guide dog in training to the campus for socialisation training.

Consent from the University must be obtained and the guide dog in training should wear the identification jacket and/or harness.

The trainer should inform and obtain the understanding or consent, as appropriate, of respective stakeholders, such as the department/office, classmates, or event organisers, before taking the guide dog in training to any indoor spaces or activities.

Animal involved in teaching and learning activities/events on campus

Apart from guide dog, no pet/animal is allowed on campus except for teaching or research purposes. 

For any on-campus activity or event organised by offices/departments that involves animal, the activity/event organiser should ensure that the animal does not create nuisance to other campus users. Please inform the Estates Office at 3411 5660 prior to the activity/event for necessary coordination.
